More time spent at the keyboard
Just when you think it's safe to sit and knit another row, yet another blog appears. Odd how I gave in to the call of the knitter's blogs so easily. I thought I had willpower! I can say no to chocolate cake and all kinds of cookies, but I was powerless against the siren's song of the knitting community.
Bear with me as I learn about uploading photos (there's sure to be a few dogs among them!) and smileys and buttons and lists. I'm most anxious to figure out how to post a blogroll. I seem to be reading more and more these days. Not to mention mentally planning more and more knitting projects whenever I see something appealing getting started. And I never say no to Koigu photos!
Ah! - I need to start a works in progress list. Let me end my first post with a photo of my second pair of broadripples in process. These are being done for the Broadripple Knitalong and the photo features my small menagerie. Left to right is Pearl (the amazing Labrador), Louie (the camera-shy cat), and Elvis (the Bad Dog).

Welcome to the blog world.
My husband loves your photo, so do I. However, he believes the cat was pasted in. Please tell him this isn't so!

I love your pet photo!!! I especially love the cat in the background, carefully looking like, Nope, I didn't do it! They Did!
I never even got to casting on for the Broadripple Knitalong, so congrats on doing more than one!

Good luck and have fun. It's time consuming but rewarding as you make many friends.
I wouldn't dare put yarn in my dogs mouths...you are in control, surely? What a bunch of sweeties...and they pose? Mine won't even stand still!

Love the photo. ;) You can really tell that Louie is actually the "top dog".
And...btw...I knew that you'd cave first. I'm not gonna do it. No knit blog for me!
